Brief Answer:
Can get it checked at the postoperative visit.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

If you do not see any discharge, increase in size and pain in the mass, you can wait until you see the doctor for your postoperative visit.

The mass is most likely to be an induration of the operative wound. Most often, they are auto corrective and need enzymes for subsidence sometimes.

Hope your query has been answered. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

Brief Answer:
No. It is a response to the trauma of the surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing back.

This is not due to infection. This is the reaction of the body to the trauma of the surgery. This is part of the healing reaction. So, do not worry.

Hope this helps. Please get back if you need any more information. I will be ready to help.
