Stools, which are usually very loose, have not changed. What can be the cause this apple green mucus? Need I worry?

Hi and thank you for asking!

I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:

1.Anal mucus with green color sometimes may indicate an infection most often candida overgrowth
2. This is why in my opinion you need to do fecal culture test plus fecal test for candida overgrowth.

Hope it was helpful to you.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Is there anything I can do before doing a culture or candidia test? Something like eating yogurt,or trying a supplement? What if I just ignore it? Might it just get better on its own? I am on a very, very limited budget and would like to avoid the cost of the tests if at all possible unless it would be unsafe to do so.

Hi back,

Yes there are home remedies that you can do before running the above tests like:

- avoid sugary foods
- use probiotics daily
- take plenty of water
- use garlic
- use apple cider vinegar
- have yogurt daily
- coconut oil

If your symptoms don't improve after two weeks than You should perform the exams I mentioned above.

Wish you good health!
