Brief Answer:
As explained. Please give feedback.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

To recapitulate: Male/*30 - consulted Doctor already - taking more fibers and more water after physical examination - symptoms reduced but still present - Medicines for irritable bowel syndrome - C/O frequent bowel movements with feeling of bowel not emptied. No blood, mucus or pus in the stool.

May I please know a few more details for me to assist you better:
The medicines and the doses you are taking?
Since when have you got this problem?
Any relation to food, stress or anxiety?
What are the investigations done till now.

On a broad outline:
For one to say this to be IBS, basic investigations need to be absolutely normal.
There may be periods when you are totally symptom-free.
You may ask your Doctor o alter the dose so that the symptoms are still suppressed.
Keeping away from the stress and anxiety play a very big role in such a condition.

Minimum investigations needed are:
Routine investigations of the blood, urine and stool.
Colonoscopy
Ultrasonography and preferably CT scan of the whole abdomen.

I can understand that IBS is necessarily a clinical diagnosis based mainly on your meticulous history, few investigations and response to the medicines, it is still the recognition of the enhancing factors and relieving factors by the patient that helps the most.

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to communicate more so that we can get a solution to your problem.
