What Causes Feeling Of Sickness And Frequent Bowel Movements With Mucus In Stool?
Question: Im currently having tests for persistent heart burn, blood tests came back normal and an untra sound scan on my abdomen showed no signs for concern, im just waiting for an endoscopy. I feel quite Sickly and i pass stool several times a day, its never very solid and always has mucus in it !

Loose stools with mucus in it needs to be investigated. The important thing here is to rule out any absorption problem .
Endoscopy is a good option and will give real time image of the organs as well as opportunity to take the biopsy of the intestine to rule out any pathology.

You may need to use Omeprazole 40mg daily before breakfast to relieve your Heart burn. You may also get relief from antacid syrup like mucaine ...avoid black pepper.

My blood results showed no signs of inflamation which i thought to be quite strange, would you expect my bloods to be abnormal. Im on lamsoprazole and also Fluoxetine but the problem pre dates taking this .
