Question: I sometimes get excessive sweating while going to the potty, with severe pain in the stomach. i had an episode yesterday with diarrhea and vomiting. Yesterday's episode seems to be due to something I ate but the sweating during motion has happened earlier even without diarrhea. I feel slightly dizzy and I have severe pain near my rectum

Brief Answer:
About Diaphoresis and bowel movement

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I appreciate your concern

The sweating and diaphoresis is likely to be related to the rectal pain and straining associated with the bowel movements. Local examination and DRE(Digital rectal examination ) should be done to look for the possible cause such as an anal fissure or hemorrhoid.

A few further work-ups like Thyroid function tests should also be done to rule out a hyperthyroid state. Please discuss this with your doctor also.

Let me know if you have any query,

Wishing you best of health.

Thanks
