What Causes Dry Skin In A Type 2 Diabetic Patient?

Question: I m Type 2 DM patient for last 3.5 yrs
I use to have a normal type skin but for last 1-2 yrs I have observed that my Skin type is changing to dry one

is this related to my diabetes. my sugar level are not 100% controlled... at times its high also

Dear sir, hi! diabetes is an autoimmune condition and so other autoimmune conditions can accompany. all diabetics are advised to check their thyroid balance once a year. if your skin is getting dry kindly get your TSH and Ft 4 done and pls let me know the results. if thyroid is normal then high sugars are responsible and you need to take good control of your diabetes. so also get your hba1c done and let me know. regards!
