default
Posted on Wed, 19 Jul 2017
Question: I either have dry mouth or mainly excessive saliva. The saliva can be really thick or watery. Evening is the worst time of day I have even had to pull over driving because I would be choking so bad try to get rid of mucus in throat. The mucus comes down the back of my throat or from under my tongue. I have had this since last year. I can't take it anymore. I have seen a regular Dr and had a endoscopy and also saw a ent Dr. can't find anything. When I saw the ent Dr. I had dry mouth at the time. My main problem is when it is excessive saliva.

Was a heavy smoker for over 35 years. I am on Zantac and prilocet. Sometimes nasal blockage. I have that slimy feel of mucus in between lower lip and teeth and roof of mouth when I don't have dry mouth

Is there an antibiotic I can take for this

Thanks for the information.
Take a combination of levocetrizine and montelukast once daily and tablet vitamin c once daily.
