What Causes Dizziness While On Neurontin And Cipro?

Question: just last week i started to experience signifincant dizziness when getting out of bed. this has continued during this week and expanded to when i change positions high to low. i'm 56 year old male in good physical shape and work out frequently and watch my diet. my blood pressure has always been very good, all of the sudden it has spiked to 145-150/90-95 from resting normal before 115/75. just in this past week. i am taking high dose cipro and neurontin for several months post op now for a rare condition called synovial chondromatosis where i had 3 significant surgeries. is this a condition of the medication? what are my next steps?

What you are reporting especially dizziness are side effects of neurontin (gabapeptin) use and you should stop taking neurontin for a couple of days.

If the problems are resolved than you should discuss with your doctor about substituting neurontin with another pill.
