Brief Answer:
meet a sports medicine expert or orthopaedic expert

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX welcome to HCM and thanks for choosing us.

I appreciate your commitment towards running. Let me tell you that I see several such patients as I am working with an organisation which is known for its athleticism. I meet several persons with such complaints but they are also not willing to take rest like you.

However I would still emphasise that rest is most important aspect for rapid recovery and to avoid permanent damage. All conditions you have mentioned require rest, painkillers and heat therapy. You don't feel pain when you are running suggest that heat relives your pain. However I would add one more condition- calcaneal spur (growth in heel bone). Calcaneal spur comes due to chronic injury to heel due to running.

I would advise you following
1 rest for at least two weeks (you can do your routine work)
2 x ray of ankle and heel to diagnose spur
3 mri may also be needed
4 soft sole shoes
5 can use extra cushion for heels in shoes
6 painkillers as per need
7 you may also require steroids injections in the affected area if you don't get relief.

I would advise you to visit an sports medicine expert or an orthopaedic expert for diagnosis and treatment.

I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to me or HCM for follow up queries. I wish you rapid and complete recovery. Kindly provide a feedback. Thanks
