Brief Answer:
Urinary tract infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

From the history you have given me it looks like you have urinary tract infection. Here is how you should go about it

1. Drink plenty of water. Atleasy 6-8 glasses per day
2. Urine alkaliniser like Syp Citrakla 2 tsp thrice daily will help ease the discomfort
3. I strongly suggest you get a urine routine test done to rule out infection followed by a urine culture
4. I also recommend examination by gynaecologist to rule out prolapse of the uterus which might also be the reason for difficult urination

I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me

regards

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for getting back, I am sorry for the short delay in my reply. I was on call at my hospital.

When you have held your urine for a long time it is normal to find it difficult to urinate. It is because of over distention of the bladder. Please avoid holding in for a long time as it causes several issues including recurrent UTI
