What Causes Dark Flakes On Penis?

Question: Hi doctor. I notice my penis shaft there has a dark flakes, not scaly, is just like after you scratched your skin until the skin broke, and it recovers with a dark flakes, that kind of flakes. is on my penis shaft. Is it because of frictions?

According to your complaints this kind of flakes can be due to friction.
In such cases I recommend my patients patients to apply a moisturiser over the affected area twice daily and to apply a topical antibiotic like neosporin if there is broken skin.
Don't use soap, wash the area with water only and avoid friction.

Yes you can use a moisturising lotion over the area two to three times in a day. This will help in clearing the flakes as well as dry penile skin.
