Question: Hi,

But previous week also i had mild headaches continuously. the problem is if i don't take medicine then by end of the day the pain increases gradually and becomes unbearable. Can you tell me why is this repetitive headache occurring.
Brief Answer:
You possibly have migraine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mr XXXXXXX
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms. The most likely cause of your repetitive headaches is migraine.
You would benefit from taking preventive medications such as flunarizine, beta blockers, topiramate or divalproex.
For relief of headache, you can take etoricoxib or rizatriptan tablets.
I hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for your reply.
The above mentioned medicines -
1. Is there any dosage and frequency for taking the above mentioned medicines.
If so can u pls specify the same and when to take it ??
2. Is there any homely medication available for preventing and curing the same??
And secondly, When i go out in sun after being in A/c room or car.. the headache starts. Is that also a part of Migraine ??
Can u suggest me some prevention method for stopping it??
BR/ XXXXXXX
Brief Answer:
My replies are below.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
1. Topiramate is taken at a dose of 25 mg once daily in morning after breakfast. It may be needed for 3-6 months.
2. There is no homely medication.
Sunlight is known to aggravate the headaches in migraine patients.
Methods for prevention- eating food on time, avoiding stress, adequate sleep, etc.
