Question: Hi,
I have a buzzing sensation in my left leg when i bend my neck forward. My neck is also quite sore, possibly due to bad posture at work.
I'm considering booking an appointment with a chiropractor, I also have a GP appointment for next week.
what would you recommend ?
Thanks

Brief Answer:
You may be having cervical spondylitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir,
I think you may be having cervical spondylitis. As you have mentioned that MRI report is not showing any nerve compression, it means your disease is in early stage. I would suggest you to follow these things.
1. Chiropractor will not help much, some time disease can aggravated, so avoid this.
2. Go to a physiotherapist and learn neck muscle strengthening exercise. Also cervical traction will help.
3. Get your serum B 12 estimation, some time low B 12 also causes weak nerves, so if it comes below 200, take methyocobal tablet after discussing with your doctor.
4. Tablet pregabalin helps if there is pain in
5. Avoid keeping neck in same position for long time. Avoid using very high pillow.
I hope these measures will help you. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions. Thanks.
