Brief Answer:

MRI report interpretation

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Your MRI cervical spine, T2, the sagittal image is showing

- An ill-defined hyperintensity at the C6-7 level, in the spinal cord (intramedullary). There is no spinal cord compression. The cervical discs are almost normal. The visible cerebellum and brainstem are normal.

Overall, there is one positive finding - ill-defined hyperintensity in the spinal cord. I can not comment upon exact diagnosis as other images like T1, contrast is needed. However, the possible differential diagnosis is:

- Ischemia
- Non-compressive myelopathy
- cyst like a neuroenteric cyst, arachnoid cyst
- A mass lesion like glioma

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:

MS diagnosis

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The chances of MS are less. MS is diagnosed based on MRI brain findings. Such a finding can occur in MS. So the possibility of MS is there, but very less.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
