Brief Answer:
This is a myth

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Grinding teeth during sleep is called Bruxism and it is a common phenomena during deep sleep. There is no specific known cause for this and in most of the cases it improves as the child grows; without any treatment.
This does not need any management unless there is attrition of teeth or pain in temporomandibular joint. In these case dental splints/guards are used during sleep to avoid contact between the teeth.
So I wont get worried as in most of the children it improves as they grow and no treatment is needed unless there is some complication.

Pain abdomen is again very common complaints in this age and although most of the practitioner prescribe antihelminthic(deworming) agent in most of the cases this pain does not occur due to worms.
I don't find any harm in giving deworming agent.
I won't get worried for pain abdomen if she is passing urine and stool normally, accepting feeds well, there is no vomiting or abdominal distension and if pain does not disturbs her sleep or daily activity.
You can give Drotaverin/dicyclomine on as and when required basis for pain.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards
