Posted on Wed, 24 Dec 2014
Question: I had a partial mastectomy in July 2013. One week later I gad a second one because of the margins. Four rounds of chemo then 33 radiation tx. Finished all January 2014. Was a stage 2a. Large tumor. No nodes. On tamoxifen. Began seeing spot in bra couple months ago. At first attributed to broken underwire. Was yellow color when dry. Now getting more. Sore. And last night after pressing on gyro area around my scar I woke up to a hand sized stain on my shirt. When impress on scar stuff cones out nipple. I placed a tissue to thenluquid and it appears to be a brownish green. I'm freaking out a little. And of course it's Saturday.

Brief Answer:
Get Ultrasonography of breast done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I have gone through your history.

As the discharge is brownish green in color it could be a a sign that there is a breast cyst underneath the nipple and areola area that is spontaneously draining and causing the discharge.

I would advsie you to do an ultrasonography from the breast in which the discharge is coming out.

If any lesion is found in the USG then biopsy has to be done to rule out recurrence of breast cancer.
