What Causes Bleeding After Taking I-pill?
Question: Hi
My gf took ipill(On 27th of Sep ) to avoid pregnancy just after 5 hours of having sex. Her period over just one day before of sex.
Now after taking ipill pain and bleeding start again and stop after 3 - 5(3rd of Oct) days. After around 12-13 days(10 Oct) of taking ipill a brown/dark red clot came out and she again start bleeding and sever pain in pussy.
Is this is normal side effect of taking ipill?? or should i consult nearest doc for this ?

Her symptoms will settle soon.
I recommend a short course of analgesics like Mefenemic acid for 3-5 days.
This should completely keep her symptom free.
Additionally I recommend an ultrasound uterus to rule out the presence of any residual blood clots.

How long this bleeding will go or when everything will be OK ??
does this next period cycle will be normall or she can have complication in next cycle also??
