What Causes Back Pain During Movements In The Spine?

default
Posted on Mon, 7 Apr 2014
Question: I have this backpain from last couple of months and I get only when I sleep or when I try to wake up. I can bend forward and backward easily and I play half hour Shuttle badminton almost 3 to 4 times a week and I have no problem while I sit and work for long hours either at office or at home. I did check with my family doctor and he said to change the way I sleep and also reduce the pillows (I used to have 2 always). Kindly help advise, I am bit lazy & bit a busy as well, to go to a doctor and also am a bit scared as well

Brief Answer: MRI scan needed Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Pain during movements in the spine indicate either a minor injury or an inflammatory process going on in the spine. I would suggest you to gt it evaluated well with a MRI scan done. This may help to identify the cause for the pain you have and also help to formulate the treatment. Meanwhile you can apply Dcilofenac gel over the affected area to get rid of the pain. Wish you good health. Regards,
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
