default
Posted on Mon, 21 Sep 2015
Question: hello, I am trying to determine what is causing me to be ill when I am at home. I have had an air quality test and mold was not detected. I have a radon detector and nothing is registering. I am researching to see what else could be causing my illness. My upper body aches primarily around the upper back and chest. My stomach is also bothering me.

Brief Answer:
Please provide further info.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I understand your concern.

Aches around the neck and upper back could possibly suggest proximal myopathy.

The cause could be a metabolic one.

Did you undergo any blood work up in the past?

Since how long you had these symptoms?

Is there any history of blood pressure or diabetes?

I advise you to have following tests.

1.Complete thyroid examination.

2. Serum electrolytes.

3.Urine analysis.

4.CK with isoenzymes.

5.Autoimmune screen.

Coupled with stomach issues, autoimmune disorders have to be ruled out.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.
