Question: Abdominal pain last 6 hours, no history of consitpation, had several small bowel movements in last few hours

Well , it seems like you are having infection of the gut ( Enteritis ). Most of the time the infection is due to virus which shall subside in 2-3 days . There is no need to do anything in that case , just hydrate yourself well by drinking plenty of water, fruit juices .

You can use Antispasmodic medicine like Cyclopam if abdominal pain is more.

If in case bowel movements are getting more frequent along with loose motions or pain abdomen is getting more severe even after 2 days then you need to consult doctor as in that case it could be due to bacterial infection and may require antibiotics.
