Brief Answer:
looks like furuncle

Detailed Answer:

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.

As per your short duration of history and the picture, to me it appears to be a furuncle/boil, as there is redness of the skin too in the surrounding region.

But still a clinical examination will be diagnostic. So i would suggest that you show it to a surgeon.

If it comes out to be the same, he will start you on antibiotics and painkillers that will either resolve the infection, or it will ripen and brust.

And as all antibiotics are prescription drugs, so you will have to see a local doctor.

Hope i have i have been helpful.

Hi All, I am Karan Bir. My mother is a breast cancer patient. A lump was identified in her breast about 9 months back. Then first she went through 8 cycles of chemotherapy (no biopsy before chemo, only memogram and FNAC was done) and clinician termed it as T4dN1M0. About a week back she underwent mastectomy and clinician sent mastectomy specimen for biopsy. The report is as under: Clinical Diagnosis: Ca. Breast. Gross: Received a mastectomy specimen measuring 18x16x6 cm with axillary tail measuring 14x5x2 and the overlying skin measuring 15x8cm. On serial slicing, a tumor is seen in the upper out quadrant measuring 3x3 cm extending 2 cm away from the DRP and far away from the nipple and areola. The skin is unremarkable. Adjacent breast, on serial slicing, doesn t reveal any other tumor. 10 lymphnodes identified. Micro: Section studied from breast shows areas of necrosed tumor cells with focal multinucleated giant cell reaction is seen, however there is no viable tumor cells identified. There are areas of dense sclerosis with chronic inflammatory infiltrate with multinucleate giant cells and focal area of lymphoid aggregate with areas of fat necrosis identified. Deep resection plane is free of tumor. Nipple areola and overlying skin are unremarkable. Eleven identified and free of tumor. Please explain me what is all there in this report in laymen language. Thank you.
