I read your question and i understand your concern. Bad smell coming from genitals is due to excessive sebaceous secretions and the smell is due to that sweating. Now that you mentioned a good hygiene maintenance i believe that might not suffice. Get rid of the groin hair including testicles and wear loose undergarments with clothes.

use hypoallergenic hygiene gels and wash your genitals frequently with it and rinse it like a shampoo. it will get rid of the smell. Avoid perfumes or cosmetics. Dont try to mask that smell. it will create trouble.

If you dot have any other symptom like urinary discomfort or urgency or frequency issues then i am sure it is nothing to worry about. You may use low dose hydrocortisone creams over the genitals and anti fungals.

But more important is keep the area sweat free and loose undergarments mostly of cotton make sure of that. Abstain from coitus or any frictional activity for a while.

Sometimes the fishy odor might be an underlying bacterial infection and may be causing this smell and might needs a prophylactic antibiotic course like doxycycline.
