Brief Answer:
Apply lactocalamine lotion.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.com

I can understand your problem, itching is particularly obnoxious as symptom and is very irritating.

Such extreme itching is most commonly due to some kind of local allergy due to contact with an allergen.

You were right in trying Hydrocortisone and benadryl, however, since it has not relieved you of the symptoms, it is imperative that you visit emergency care so as to prevent any systemic effects due to allergy.

Meanwhile application of calamine lotion over the affected parts will have some soothing effect.

Please do make a visit to the emergency to avoid any untoward event.

I sincerely hope this answers your query, if you have any additional concerns, i would be happy to answer them as well.

Wishing you speedy recovery.

Regards.
