Question: hi i have a lump between my inner leg and scrotum and dont know what it could be. its hard and about an inch long and was not always there

Detailed Answer:
Most commonly we see some subcutaneous benign tumors in this area and usually this is ateroma,fibroma or lipoma. in every case this shouldnt worry you unless it become inflammed and then you would experience pain,fever and redness in this area with pus secretion. Otherwise, it can be surgically removed under local anasthesia and then it can be sent to pathohistologic analysis,but this is not an emergency. If there is some concern, you should see surgeon for further management.
