Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr XXXXXXX
I am Dr Saumya Mittal.
I have real your message.
Ideally I would like to know whether you are on any medications for blood pressure.
Since you have not mentioned any, I am assuming there are no medications.
I would say that the blood pressure is still within normal range.
Having said that, there is usually a cause for rise in blood pressure.
So I suggest testing a lipid profile, echocardiography.
Restrict your salt intake and do perform moderate physical activity as is well tolerated.
However, before all this, make sure your machine is recalibrated.
Most of the time, that is the cause for the problem.
Having said all that, BP upto 140/90 is acceptable.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible.
Best of luck, Dr Mittal
