What Can Be Done About Mosquito Bites Which Have Gotten Swollen Over The Past Couple Of Days?

Question: My 18 year old niece has what appeared to be mosquito bites on her thighs and calf. Now, the one on her calf is hard. All are swollen. Should I take her to the ER or does this sound like something I should take her to the doctor to have examined? This has been over a course of 2 or 3 days.

However most probably she is experiencing a mild allergic reaction.. This can be relived by applying warm compresses and Benadryl cream three times daily together with an antihistaminic as citrizine once daily before going to bed.. I hope you find this helpful..
