Brief Answer:
Stopping the drug can cause relapse of psychotic symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.

Sizodone plus contains the active ingredients Risperidone and Trihexyphenidyl.

Risperidone is an anti-psychotic drug and Trihexyphenidyl is an central anticholinergic drug.

Common side effects of risperidone are:

Nausea and Vomiting,
Gastritis,
Weight gain,
Dry mouth or excessive salivation,
Sedation,
Rashes,
Dizziness,

and

Extrapyramidal side effects like:

Tremors,
Akathisia,
Excessive salivation,
Mask-face,
Gait disturbances.

Common side effects of trihexyphenidyl are:
Dry mouth,
Constipation,
Blurred vision,
Difficulty passing urine.

The drugs trihexyphenidyl when combined with risperidone, prevents the extrapyramidal side-effects.

Sudden stopping of this medication can cause such kind of symptoms like headache, restlessness, irritability and general malaise, because you are taking this drug from long time.

Most importantly, stopping this drug can cause relapse of psychotic symptoms for which the drug was initiated.
So, I would advise you to consult your psychiatrist before stopping the drug.

Hope this answers your query satisfactorily.
