Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Smoking pot may lead to marked blood pressure values fluctuation, not rarely to hypertension.

In addition, besides many adverse effects (dizziness, cognitive impairment, anxiety, paranoia, tooth discoloration, tachycardia, etc.), one of the most feared adverse consequences may be psychological and/or physical dependence.

Being such a greatly influencing supplement for the human body, it will interfere also with most of anti-hypertensive medications.

Coming to this point, I agree with the recommendation of quitting smoking pot at least temporarily until a more appropriate anti-hypertensive medication scheme is established.

Meanwhile, I advise monitoring frequently your blood pressure values and refer them to your attending doctor for a better therapy optimization strategy.

Hope to have been helpful to you! In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again.

Would it be alright to go back to 20 mg on my BP pill since it worked before? Thanks

Brief Answer:
You may try the previous dosage.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

It seems a rational alternative getting to an effective anti-hypertensive scheme.

As 20 mg Lisinopril has been shown effective at controlling your BP values you may try turning back to your previous daily dosage.

Meanwhile, a close observation of the response would be necessary to decide whether any additional drug should be considered.

Hope I have answered your query.

Thank you.
