Brief Answer:
Causes of bruised eye.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I think it is a purpura on the ankle of eye. Purpura occurs when small blood vessels burst, causing blood to pool under the skin. This can create purple spots on the skin that range in size from small dots to large patches. If you cant remember that you injured it and it has traumatic cause it may be due to medications.

Some medications used to prevent blood clotting like anticoagulant sintton, warfarin or antiaggregant like aspirin may cause it. Also low platelet count due to certain diseases,
cancer, chemotherapy, HIV infections, HVC, hormone replacement estrogen therapies. Do total blood count and a platelet count in order to investigate the causes.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
