Brief Answer:
Lowering of dose could be tried first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

First thing to do when a drug is working but shows also side effects, is to lower the dose, or to divide the dose.

You can take lamotrigine 100 mg/day for example.

Another possibility is to take 75 mg twice a day.

If side effects persist, then switching the drug may be needed, and Levetiracetam for example could be started to control seizures.

Of course, since all these are prescription drugs and change in drugs dose could result in seizures activity, you should discuss with your treating Doctor about these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
