Suggest Treatment For Worm Infection

Posted on Mon, 29 Dec 2014
Question: I took Combantrin (pyrantel pamoate) yesterday at 11am it is now 5pm the next day..

I think I still can feel wiggling in my anus. Maybe it's just my head. I am scared they haven't gone away.. what should I do?

I have cleaned my sheets today and yesterday, washed my under garments, sanitized EVERYTHING. Kitchen, cabinets, counters, wash rooms, everything.

It started with diarrhoea and then whenever I ate I had a bit of abdominal cramping, afterwards I started getting itching, and then felt wiggling. But I sleep fine, I'm really not that itchy. Just once in awhile.

Brief Answer:
Get a stool routine done

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

Here is what I suggest

1. Approach a general physician for a stool routine test, it is diagnostic of having worms in stools
2. If you are still not convinced then you can also undergo endoscopy and colonoscopy to see for worms under camera
3. I suggest your to take tab albendazole 400 once today and then again after 2 weeks

I hope I was of help, please get back to me for further clarifications

Regards
