Suggest Treatment For White And Black Spots On Face

default
Posted on Fri, 4 Mar 2016
Question: Hi
For months I have feel like something is on my face several times a day, in my nose also. When I look in the mirror there is a white speck on my face, sometimes it is black. It is driving me crazy. I had my apt checked for bed bugs three times and the dog brought in. Did not find anything . It only happens in my Apts. I have washed and washed everything. Threw out so much stuff. Wash the bedding every other day, vacuumed .
The Dr says it's my mind. It is not my mind. I am not crazy. My husband says he feels like something is on him sometimes. I am ready to through out my bed and sofa now . Please help.
Ps.
I took white and black specks like lint of my bed twice to the museum and he said it is nothing and no bed bug eggs or shedding. Please help. Right now I feel a tingly feeling on my face, I know when I go look it will be a little black or white speck like lint.

Brief Answer:
It may be worm or fungus

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

The best way to know the lint's name is to check it under microscope (by microbiologist).

It may or may not be in your mind.

Anyways an antihelminthic like albendazole or mebendazole can be taken as a preventive measure. It has no side effects and takes care of most type of worms. It is a prescription medicine. It is quite possible that the bug may be in your mattress. If it just stays on your face but does not bite you or brings about other damage then it is not much to be worried about.

If it is a fungus, then it may be either coming from air or drinking water. Hope you are drinking cleaner water and inhaling clean air. Antifungals should not be taken in your case.

If possible please upload a photo of the lint-like thing so that I am better able to help.

Hope it helps.
