Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Infection

default
Posted on Tue, 5 Sep 2017
Question: I have been sexually inactive for 20 years. Last week I had intercourse with an individual on Wednesday evening . He wore a condom. However, today I have developed itching and burning inside my vagina. I had been experiencing vaginal dryness but with the burning/itching, I have experienced, not a lot of discharge but a definite increase in moisture. It does not have a component of unpleasant odor. What would you recommend? My email is YYYY@YYYY . Thanks so much!!===Beth XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
Itching and burning in the vagina can be due to infection or dryness.
You should get a vaginal examination done and vaginal swab done to confirm the diagnosis and get further treatment accordingly.
You can take cetrizine for itching.
