Brief Answer:
Traumatic ulcer, aneathetic and analgesic

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
As far as the tear in the mucosa is concerned, it can be a traumatic ulcer with a pseudomembrane, secondary to tooth brush trauma or cheek biting.
Nothing to be panic, If i am your treating doctor, i would have suggested you to take topical anesthetic like lignocaine and analgesic like choline salicylate.
Based on your description, these are the posible diagnosis and treatment.

I hope my answer will help you, take care.

Thank you, Doctor. I have an electric toothbrush and it's possible that I nicked it this morning without noticing.

So, no reason to think something more serious? How long until it heals?

Doctor, everything still look ok on new picture?

Also, what is this spot on other side cheek? Another ulcer?

Can you get something like a herpes lesion or something else inside the mouth like this? If so, does this look like that? In other words, any reason to worry about anything like that?

Brief Answer:
traumatic ulcer, aphthous ulcer, medication

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply. Nothing to be panic, it is not looking like herpetic ulcer, and herpes ulcers will not occur on the cheek mucosa. It looks like a traumatic ulcer secondary to cheek biting or it can be a aphthous ulcer secondary to stress.
Do not worry about this, this is a self limiting condition and heals in 5 days.
Take topical anesthetic and analgesics like lignocaine and choline salicylate for 5days. The lesion will heal in 5 daus. If it is not healing in 5 days, then you consult a oral physician.
I hope my answer will help you.

Brief Answer:
Traumatic/aphthous ulcer, medication

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
According to the images the lesion looks like an aphthous ulcer or a traumatic ulcer secondary to stress. When ever there is an ulcer, it sticks to the mucosa to which it comes in contact. Lead a stress free life. Nothing to worry, you can take topical anesthetic and analgesic like lignocaine and choline salicylate. Apply 3-4times daily. The lesion will heal in 5 days. If it is not reduced, then consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Do saline gargling. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
If any queries, Reply me back.
