Brief Answer: hi, foreign body throat. Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX fish bone in throat , common condition in ENT. Go meet a ENT specialist, he wil examine the throat, if it is easily seen in oropharynx or in tonsil , he can remove it easily through the mouth using forceps. If not seen in the oropharynx, then he will do IDL examination ( indirect laryngoscopy) or direct laryngoscopy to see whether the fish bone is present in the laryngopharynx. If present that also can be removed easily . If it is not seen, and if it has scratched your throat then empirical treatment with pain killers and anti inflammatory drugs will be given for 3 to 5 days. If foreign body sensation and throat pain persists even after 5 days then CT scan may be advised to detect the fish bone.
