Please provide more details

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I can understand your concern. It's common in a lot of students to develop depressive symptoms when they join college. The symptoms occur commonly due to adjustment disorder. In most cases some underlying stress causes poor adjustment to changed situations and thus worsens the symptoms. If you could describe her symptoms in detail then I can comment with confidence. Please mention what are her presenting symptoms?

How did symptoms progress?

Did she show symptoms like lack of energy, pervasive sadness, lack of interest in anything, poor social interaction, poor desire, irritability etc?

Any significant stressor in her college or at home?

Thanks, please provide details in follow up.

Brief Answer:
SSRIs are treatment of choice for depression.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

These symptoms suggest depression only and this could be endogenous depression or depression due to poor adjustment. Drugs like SSRIs as Escitalopram or Fluoxetine etc helps a lot in reducing the depression. She is already on Feliz-S which is Escitalopram and is a good drug for depression. In most cases response is seen with in 8-12 weeks of starting the treatment. Try not to give Zapiz for daily basis for long periods of time because this drug might make her dependent. With proper treatment her symptoms will reduce.

Thanks, Still have doubts please ask again.
