Brief Answer:
insect bite

Detailed Answer:
Hello
You are correct, it is appearing like an insect bite.
Don't worry apply saline compress.
This Will help in reducing the blister.
Don't try to rupture it.
You can make saline at home.
Take 200 ml of mild warm water and add a pinch of table salt to it.
Dip a clean cloth in this solution and apply it over the blisters and keep for 10 min
Do this thrice a day.
After each compress apply an antibacterial cream.
Keep a watch, if there is increase in size of blister or redness or the child develops fever you must meet a doctor.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
