    Suggest treatment for swelling and pain in the forearm due to bee sting

Question: I was taken to er for a bee sting on Friday evening. The sight of the sting on my forearm is red and irritated and encompasses my whole forearm. Having muscular discomfort also. Is there anything other than Benadryl and a topical that can help?

I can understand your concern.
Redness suggests inflammation.
So along with benadryl and topical cortisone cream, combination of painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs will also helpful in reducing Redness and swelling.
Combination of painkiller (diclofenac) and anti inflammatory (paracetamol) is easily available over the counter.
You should take this combination twice daily after food for 5-7 days.
