Brief Answer:
get medical help ASAP; dont manipulate

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swsrnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
Cotton bud getting stuck in ear cavity is a common ENT problem. My first suggestion will be not to try and manipulate with it. In the process, ear canal might be injured and what is worse, tympanic membrane can also get injured. So do not try to take it out forcefully.
Visit Emergency at your earliest. There the doctors have specific instruments to take it out. There should not be any chances of infection if it is taken out in due time. Chances of infection increases if it remains in ear canal for days. Dont bathe or apply water to ear in the meantime.

Hope this was helpful.
Regards.
