Suggest Treatment For Sore Red Rashes Which Itch In Groin Area

Question: My daughter is having allergic reaction from her menstral pads. raised rash, soreness, redness and itching.
She is 13 years old and can't figure out tampons. I've tried but am worried that that will create an internal problem. She has been to an allergist and they suspect latex allergy or fragrance allergy. She also reacts to some lotions. Is there a hypo-allergenic pad she can use?

Brief Answer:
The solution is identifying what works for her!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this allergy that your daughter has. It becomes difficult to tell which brand of pads would cause this problem. The best way forward is to try as many brands as possible, one at a time until you identify which doesn't cause allergies and stick to. There is no pad that is termed hypoallergenic as the problem is that she is allergic to some of the material used in manufacturing and not all.

I hope this helps. I wish her well.
