Brief Answer:
It can be conjunctivitis, or a stye. Ophthalmologist review is needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi!
Welcome to health care magic!

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be start of conjunctivitis as it may start with itch apparently in eye lid or sclera and then rest of the symptoms like itching, redness kick in however any hair follicle infection in some fallen eye lash or stye may also present like this.

In any case an opthamololgist review is recommended. Also needs a detailed eye examination to rule out any signs of impacted foreign body.

Meanwhile keep sprinkling cold water and may start anti histamines like cetrizine or loratidine for itching. Artifical tears or tear film can be poured into the effected eye as well. In case of pain or inflammation OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can be used.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
