Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Doxycycline
Question: Should doxy-cycline HYC 100mg be taken with food, or just a glass of water? My husband just started on this medicine last night for some sort of bacterial infection, location unknown, in his body. Since starting this medication his headache has become worse, more intense and he has lost his appetite. But I think his chills and fever have gotten better. He saw a nurse practitioner yesterday morning, she ordered blood tests, and this is what was prescribed for my husband. He is allergic to penicillin. He had felt ill since last Sunday afternoon, but at first it was a reaction to some new foods he had eaten.
