Suggest Treatment For Severe Leg Pain

Question: I have severe leg pain and am taking prednisolone and mobic. Started this morning and was wondering can I take panadol too as pain is very severe /I have had a lumber laminectomy in 2013 and would dearly love to avoid another.Is there anything else i can do ?

Hello,
I have studied your case and I think that this can be disc herniation. I would recommend you to get MRI of the spine to see if there is disc herniation once again. Even if you do not want surgery but it is always better to have right diagnosis.
I would recommend you following medicines.
1.Tablet Pregabalin M one daily at night time.
2.8 mg medrol tablet three times a day. Take it for three weeks then gradually decrease it.
3.Do not band forward or lift heavy weight. When you are sleeping try to keep your knee in banding position.
4.Hot water fomentation and volitran ointment will be helpful for you.
