Question: Unable to put my feet on earth because of severe pain in my both legs since after I had got fever chikungunya before 3 weeks ago on 27-OCT-2016

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
The joint pain due to chikungunya fever takes long time for recovery.

I recommend following to my patients:

1. To take Anti Inflammatory like Etoricoxib as or when required for pain.
2. To take tablet Hydroxychloroquine (HCQS) which is a Disease Modifying drugs.

However, HCQS takes time to show it's action but the results are good.

The pain would take time and you have to be patient.

Hydroxychloroquine (HCQS) is tablet or salt name?
For much time should I take this?
How much mg should take in a day?

Hydroxycholoroquine is the Salt name and it's available in market with name HCQS.
I usually prescribe it in dosage of 300 mg once daily in night.
