Suggest Treatment For Scar On The Testicle Skin

Question: How well will a derma roller combined with newgel+e silicone scar gel work on an strophic scar on the testicles to raise and fade it? Also, would covering it with a silicone gel sheeting help, or is there a better method altogether? It's pretty small, only like a half cm, and barely sunken. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Dermaroller is good choice

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

If it is the scrotal skin which is affected, considering the skins elasticity and built derma roller is a better option. As the healing process in this skin is suitable for the process by which derma roller works.

Since its a small scar, laser and other modalities would become useless here.

Yes, silicon sheeting would help. I would recommend the planned procedure only.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

Do you advise using some sort of topical gel along with massage after using the Dermal roller and if so, what kind of product? I've heard XXXXXXX butter is good for fading strophic scars.

Brief Answer:
Peptide based creams

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

Yes, you can use creams containing XXXXXXX butter.

Better would be Peptide based creams like ones containing Palimtoyl Oligopeptide and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide 7. The response with this is better especially when coupled with dermaroller.

Great, which size roller do you recommend for this, and how often should I use the roller/apply the cream?

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Depends

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Let the dermatologist decide the size of dermaroller.

I should see the scar to decide on how often dermaroller of cream has to be applied.

Okay, do you recommend seeing a dermatologist in person then? Also, what kind of moisturizer do you recommend for keratosis Pilaris? Preferably something that I can still sunbathe with after applying? Thanks

Moisturizer with reitnoids

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Yes, a dermatologist opinion is a must here.
