Question: I've noticed a red spot on my inner thigh. Is this something fungal like jock itch or something more concerning like an STD? It's been there about a week. It's minorly itchy.

Brief Answer:
Infected hair follicle

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
I understand your concern.
It looks like an infected hair follicle. You can apply a topical antibiotic like Bactroban and it would go away.
