Question: I have been having brown bloody dicharge on and off since my last period on March 22.
I have also had what seemed to be extremely bad ovulation pain on April 5. It doubled me over for about 45 minutes. I have had pain and pressure on and off in my lower pelvic area. It is often tender to the touch. I now am having red mucousy dicharge and it is still about 10 days before I should start my next period. I have some lower back discomfort. I had a urine test which came back fine. I have had some episodes of nausea and indigestion as well. Any thoughts?

Brief Answer:
PROGESTERONE DEFICIENCY OR ENDOMETRIOSIS

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm for an opinion,
The continued intermentrual bleeding and increased pain due to ovulation can be possibly due to two different causes, one being endometriosis and the other being progesterone hormone deficiency.
Hence suggested that you should get your day 21 serum progesterone levels done which if low then you would have to be placed on cyclical progesterone support for at least 3 months and for endometriosis get a pelvic ultrasound done to look for any adnexal endometriotic cysts or collection.
Please review with reports.
