Question: Hi,
I am not able to perform sex properly with my mife, when i am having sex i have the ejaculatation very fast. its not even lasting for 2-3 minutes and due to this neither me nor my are happy and are very unhappy about this, its really very annoying and is very dissapointing both of us.

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your concern.
You seem to be suffering from premature ejaculation(PME). There is no specific normal time of duration of ejaculation.When male ejaculates so early before female partner reaches orgasm during sex , it is called PME.
Dulast(depoxetine) 30 is relatively newer drug and to be taken only before sex. It has shown no effect in your case.
IN my opinion clomipramine or paroxetine are more useful.
Clomipramine is used in relatively less dose and to be taken daily. It has no significant side effect.
Paroxetine can cause some headache, gastric discomfort or restlessness in few patients. Initially it should be taken daily and later on as and when required.
Other approach is modification in your sex technique. Stop & start and Squeeze techniques are useful. You can learn the same with internet or consult psychiatrist/sexologist once.Couple sex counseling would also help.
One common thing I used to say in some of my patients. Do the masturbation on the same day at least 1-2 hours before the actual sex act. It will help to empty full seminal vesicles up to some extent which in turn will increase ejaculation time in sex.
