Brief Answer:
Advisable to operate under a Head and neck cancer surgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for posting your query on Health care magic.

I have gone through the reports.

Your father is probably suffering from a Benign lymphoepithelial cyst in the parotid gland.

In such a case, there can be following treatment options:
1.Repeated aspiration of fluid. It is a temporary solution and recurrence occurs.
2:Surgery:It is a permanent solution.

In case of surgery on the parotid gland, care has to be taken as facial nerve supplying facial muscles passes through the parotid gland.During surgery on parotid gland,if facial nerve is injured then facial paralysis may occur.

So,it would be advisable to operate under a Head and neck cancer surgeon or an ENT doctor with enough experience in parotid gland surgeries.

Hope this answers your question.I would be happy to answer you in case of any further questions.Take care.
