Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

How was your day?
Hope this message finds you in good health.

I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

increased spasm in calves and general body tightening may be caused due to deficiency of calcium or derangements in the electrolyte levels.

it may also be related to MS and its back pressure effects on the lungs, causing less perfusion of the body muscles.

for suppressing cough, you need to take a good anti tussive syrup. sternal pain can be relieved by analgesics and local gel with hot fomentation.

Above all this, i would suggest you to get a ecg and echo done to see the present MS status and see for its complications. A cardiologist's opinion at this stage will be of immense value.

You should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.

I hope your question has been answered.
